1st Case- [Accidental Video]

[At first, the only thing shown on the video is a clear sky with grass surrounding the lens.  The wind blows gently, causing the grass to sway slightly.

A moment later, the grass shifts around and a blue haired girl appears, obviously not in her normal outfit.  She takes a look around]

Where...where am I? 

[She carefully stands up, now her pale legs only seen on the camera]   The mountain range in Inaba perhaps..?  [Before the young girl is able to take a step forward, a small cry of pain comes from her and she collapses on her knees, her hand gripping her shoulder.

A pair of small, dark blue wings appear behind her for a moment, giving a slight flap before disappearing behind her back again.  It takes a few moments before the girl is able to finally relax again, her hand sliding off her shoulder]

Wings...? ....Am I dead?  ...No that couldn't possibly be right.  Once one is dead, there is supposedly no pain, yet I can feel it.

But where is my uniform?  [she stares at the white dress, playing with the straps for a moment]  I don't remember ever purchasing this dress nor do I remember changing into it.

[The blue haired girl finally looks straight at the camera, reaching forward to grab the journal.]  A journal?  This could prove to be useful.

If I'm here it's possible the others are as well.  I must find them as fast as possible.

...Luceti? It doesn't sound familiar. Are we in Japan?

No, we're not. Luceti's...pretty far away from Japan.

I thought so, I didn't recognize this area.

[A pause] How many others are here?

Well, it's because we're in another world from Earth.

Hm...I don't know how many, but I estimate at around...200 of us? Maybe 300 or more at the village?

You know, that there's no pain after death is mostly just a theory, but I think there will still be pain, specially if one ends in hell, that's how torture in the afterlife is supposed to be, right?

Anyway, you're not dead. Neither in Inaba or anywhere close to it. This place is named Luceti, welcome.

I suppose that's true but one wouldn't know unless they experience it for themselves.

[A small pause] Luceti...I'm guessing we're no longer in Japan.

[Voice]

Even if one experiences it and is able to tell it the situation may be too traumatic for them to remember though, it's not unheard of that people will forget things they have gone through due trauma.

No, not Japan or anywhere close to it even. Believe it or not this is another world, you've been taken here, like everyone else who's in this place, from your world. By whom or what, we don't know, but the ones who brought you to this precise place are known as the Malnosso.

This is also quite true. If one goes through an event that they don't want to remember, they tend to try and erase it from their memories.

Everyone else? So there are others here. I must be separated from them.

The Malnosso...What purpose was there by bringing me here?

Yeah, well, there's like a fifty percent of chances of people you know being here, or no one you know being here. But I was taken from my world too, and... Just anyone you meet here, has been taken. I've been here for little over a year, if you want I could help you to see if anyone you know is here.

The Malnosso are scientists, they claim to be working to find a way so everyone can return to their world at will, right now it's... Pretty uncontrolled if people get to return home or not. But to do that apparently they have to make experiments and study things... And we were chosen to be the volunteers to help with that.

From what I've heard, a group of people called the Malnosso--scientists, they're supposed to be--have brought you here, although nobody is quite sure why.

[She's not too clear on the details herself.]

Where are you right now? Are you all right?

The Malnosso? I see, so no one is yet aware of their goals.

[She ponders the thought for a moment before responding]

I'm not quite sure where I am right now, but I'm all right, thank you.

I think that they regularly perform "experiments" on the people here, but I haven't been here long enough to experience one for myself, thankfully. We're all from different worlds, it seems.

Are there any landmarks you see nearby? A lake, maybe, or a river?

[Is this like Christmas or is it like the worst month ever. First Souji and now Naoto, what are the Malnosso playing at--]

[....ah, damn it damn it damn it. She summons up her brightest smile as she hits reply (being careful to read the other replies first- thank goodness for Kouki acting fast) and speaks into the journal.]

If you want cuter dresses, I think I saw a pretty cute one at the store. We should be able to get it in navy blue too, if we hurry.

[i.e. let's meet there, Naoto, she isn't going to leave you alone in this village]

[That's a voice Naoto recognizes right off the bat. Though she's relieved to hear her, she's a bit wary about the dresses idea]

Rise-san? Thank you, but I would prefer to change into my uniform.

Where are you?

[analyzing]

[A sigh. Well, she tried. There's also the sound of water running in the background- but it's unlike the river that Naoto had followed earlier.]

I'm by the fountain. How about you?

[She hears the water, wondering where the fountain is]

The fountain? I just arrived in the village myself.

Shirogane? Please tell me I'm not seeing things.

[First Rise now Souji? This makes her happier when his voice appears]

Senpai? I don't believe you are hallucinating.

[He doesn't know what to say at first. He's relieved that she's around to back them up. On the other hand...they're both stuck here. And it's a matter of time until Yosuke and the rest of the posse show up if the pattern keeps going...

Eventually he settles with,] I'm glad you're safe. Really...I am. [His tone switches to a serious one.] But we're both in a pickle right now.

[She pauses for a moment, kinda embarrassed with the sudden concern from him though she recovers quickly]

There's no need to be concerned about my safety, Senpai. [She returns back to her normal focused state]
