fortuneprince | 1st Case- [Accidental Video]

[At first, the only thing shown on the video is a clear sky with grass surrounding the lens. The wind blows gently, causing the grass to sway slightly.

A moment later, the grass shifts around and a blue haired girl appears, obviously not in her normal outfit. She takes a look around]

Where...where am I?

[She carefully stands up, now her pale legs only seen on the camera] The mountain range in Inaba perhaps..? [Before the young girl is able to take a step forward, a small cry of pain comes from her and she collapses on her knees, her hand gripping her shoulder.

A pair of small, dark blue wings appear behind her for a moment, giving a slight flap before disappearing behind her back again. It takes a few moments before the girl is able to finally relax again, her hand sliding off her shoulder]

Wings...? ....Am I dead? ...No that couldn't possibly be right. Once one is dead, there is supposedly no pain, yet I can feel it.

But where is my uniform? [she stares at the white dress, playing with the straps for a moment] I don't remember ever purchasing this dress nor do I remember changing into it.

[The blue haired girl finally looks straight at the camera, reaching forward to grab the journal.] A journal? This could prove to be useful.

If I'm here it's possible the others are as well. I must find them as fast as possible.

I see, so we've become test subjects. Where can these scientists be found?

[A pause] Yes, I can hear water close by. Should I try to find the source?

We don't know where they are, but they're outside of the barrier.

You can follow the river down towards the village. The other way just leads to one of the lakes.

We're inside of a barrier?

Understood. I'll follow the water to try and find the village.

[A shuffling sound is heard as Naoto begins to walk towards the sound of the water]

Yeah, we are. It's about two or three days to reach it from the village. The barrier's not only keep us in, but to prevent others from coming to us, too.

[In a moment, he write down the link to the guide.]

I just linked the guide to your journal. It covers most things in more detail, like the experiments.

I see, so it isn't too confined. Others? Are there monsters outside the barrier?

[Oh look something to read. She begins to read it carefully, memorizing ever detail of it]

....This place is quite interesting.

As far as I know, there's no monsters, just animals like back on Earth. [He recalls his time in the last draft.] It's mostly to keep the group known as the Third Party away from us.

[She continues to read though doesn't sound distracted]

The Third Party? Are they like us?

We don't know much about them, beside opposing the Malnosso and that they want to kill us all, permenantly.

[Really lucky to survive, yes.]

I see, so they aren't the most pleasant of people.

[The sound of water is able to be heard now though its quiet]

Oh, I apologize for not introducing myself yet. My name is Naoto Shirogane. May I ask what your name is?

I'm Kouki Wakahisa, it's nice to meet you, Shirogane-san.

It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Wakahisa-san.

Wakahisa-san, do you know someone by the name of Seta Souji?

Seta Souji? Probably. I know a guy named Souji who arrived here a few days ago.

Does he have grey hair?

[Naoto sighs in relief]

Yes, he does.

[A moment later a small grunt comes from Naoto's end then shuffling as she drops the journal. A few not so nice words come out of her mouth though they're muffled. A few seconds later the shuffling is heard again]

I apologize, I wasn't expecting the pain to return so quickly.

Was it your wings? The pain will pass and you'll get used to your wings, but you have to be careful with them. They're our lifeline here and ripping both of them off means death.

Yes, they're becoming quite agitating. Though I'm glad to hear the pain will pass.
I see, so removing them or damaging them isn't a good idea.

Sadly, they're too small to fly with, so they don't do much.

So there is no real purpose for them except the fact they are used in order to keep us alive?

Pretty much, yeah. Not just us, but the Malnosso and the Third Party also have them as well.

So they have it as well? Did the Malnosso create the wings?

I don't know if they did, really. They either did or not.

I see...

[A pause] I think I can see the village.

That's good. You can find your things at the stores in the plaza, usually your clothes. You might need to alter them for your wings, too.

[A pause.] Do you want me to meet with you?

[Naoto had completely forgotten about her uniform and begins to be more aware with the fact she is wearing a dress]

I see. I'll have to pick them up as soon as possible.

[Another pause] If it wouldn't be too much to ask, could you? Since I'm not familiar with the village, it would be beneficial if you were here to assist me.

Okay, I'll be there. What do you see around you? Any specific building? Or a number on the building or house?
