1st Case- [Accidental Video]

[At first, the only thing shown on the video is a clear sky with grass surrounding the lens. The wind blows gently, causing the grass to sway slightly.

A moment later, the grass shifts around and a blue haired girl appears, obviously not in her normal outfit. She takes a look around]

Where...where am I?

[She carefully stands up, now her pale legs only seen on the camera] The mountain range in Inaba perhaps..? [Before the young girl is able to take a step forward, a small cry of pain comes from her and she collapses on her knees, her hand gripping her shoulder.

A pair of small, dark blue wings appear behind her for a moment, giving a slight flap before disappearing behind her back again. It takes a few moments before the girl is able to finally relax again, her hand sliding off her shoulder]

Wings...? ....Am I dead? ...No that couldn't possibly be right. Once one is dead, there is supposedly no pain, yet I can feel it.

But where is my uniform? [she stares at the white dress, playing with the straps for a moment] I don't remember ever purchasing this dress nor do I remember changing into it.

[The blue haired girl finally looks straight at the camera, reaching forward to grab the journal.] A journal? This could prove to be useful.

If I'm here it's possible the others are as well. I must find them as fast as possible.

All right, that narrows the area of search, try to get to the water source and check what position is the sun regarding the stream. There are two rivers but that should clear which one you're close to.

[Some shuffling noise as Keiichi starts his way to check the rivers anyway.]

There's a barrier around the area, though it's a pretty big area, I heard it takes around two or three days of traveling to get from the village to the border of the barrier. We are allowed to get out at certain times but, trust me, you don't want to do that.

[A shuffling noise comes from Naoto's end as well as she begins to walk towards the sound of water]

I see, so it isn't as confined as I thought. Are there monsters outside of the barrier?

As far as I know the wildlife is pretty much the same as back in our world. So no monsters, but there's a war going on between the Malnosso and another group named the Third Party. It seems those guys were also taken from their homes and also are working to fix things but...

Well, the Malnosso's solution seems to be to trap other people brought to this world and make them test subjects to try to find a way out, which isn't good. But the Third Party's solution is to kill everyone permanently and not leave even a memory of our existence, which is worse.

A war? It seems no one is native to Luceti.

I see...As much as I don't want to become a test subject, being killed in such a way isn't an option for me.

[A small cry comes from Naoto and then shuffling as she drops the journal. A moment later the shuffling sound returns] I apologize...These wings cause a bit of pain...

At least that's what they claim, but I see no point in lying about that.

[he gasps in surprise at the cry and instinctively increases his pace, even if he knows that he's still far from where she may be. Still... Luceti isn't too dangerous but it's not peaceful either so he worries that she may be hurt somehow, besides for the obvious issue of the wings. It's a relief to hear her talk about them.]

Don't worry, I understand, they are terrible sensible as well. You'll get used to them in about a day or two and the pain will vanish, but you will have to be careful with them. Ripping them off may kill you and ripping one isn't better even if it doesn't kill you.

I don't see much of a point in lying about it either.

[She sighs a little as she continues to walk on]

I'm glad to hear that the pain does vanish. Though from what you say, doing anything to them isn't much of an option.

The wings are pretty useless, you can't fly with them and they are like your biggest weak point. But they are needed to survive here apparently. The guys from the Third Party also have them, so they aren't the work of the Malnosso either,

By the way, my name's Keiichi. What's yours?

I see...A useless accessory yet vital for life.
It seems the wings are a natural phenomenon here.

Oh, I apologize for not introducing myself. My name is Naoto.

It does seem that way, wonder if this world puts them on us when it brings us here. It's strange to think of the world having a will but from what we have been told it would seem that way.

No need to apologize, I didn't introduce myself before either. [He chuckles a bit.] Can you see the river already?

I have experienced such a place myself, so I would not be surprised if that was the case.

[The sound of water is able to be heard now though its faint]
Yes, I am standing along side it now.

Yeah, I suppose not. Or that rather than the world having a will of its own there's something or someone else, above all of us playing with this world as a game-board and us and the Malnosso and the Third Party being nothing but chess pieces or something.

[He sighs, well, there's no point in worrying about that right now, he has to find Naoto and bring her to the village.]

Awesome, in regards of the river's flow, where is the sun? South or east?

[Her voice grows a bit more stern from that thought]
Hopefully, that isn't the case.

[She relaxes again, pausing to look around] The sun is in the east I believe.

Great, you're at the smallest one. I'll be there soon! Hope you like sandwiches, that's kind of all I had on hand to bring.

You brought food? [She hadn't even thought of food when she woke up]

A sandwich sounds delicious, thank you Keiichi-san.

Yeah, maybe you're hungry but it's not bad, just in case. I was kind of starving when I arrived here.

[And freezing.]

I'm also bringing some clothes. I hope something fits you, that sundress is freezing cold even now. Anyway, I'll be there soon.

[And he increases his pace even more until he's able to spot a lone figure standing along side the river. Figure to which he waves.]

Naoto-kun!

I am quite hungry now that I think about it.

[She looks down, remembering she was still in that white dress. She shivers and attempts to hide her chest by folding her arms, more aware with the fact she's showing more than normal]

Thank you...It is becoming cold.

[She waits quietly by the river then looks over towards Keiichi when she hears her name called. She waves back]

[You know, she looks kind of cute with that dress. Not that Keiichi stops to really ponder about it though, there are more important things. He offers her a bag he was carrying, inside she will find a shirt, trousers, and a winter jacked, as well as sockets and shoes.]

Nice to finally meet you in person, Naoto-kun!

Here, put this on, if I were you I wouldn't bother taking off the dress though, as little as it may be it must have some body warm on it already and there's not really a place here to properly change. I'll take you to the clothing store when we arrive to the village so you can pick up something better.

[She takes the bag he offers her and opens it up to look through the clothes. She sighs in relief that it's nothing girly. She gives Keiichi a faint smile]

It's nice to meet you as well, Keiichi-kun.

[She gives him a small nod]

Thank you very much for bringing these, I appreciate it. Is there a chance my uniform was placed in the clothing store?

[For girly clothes he would have had to raid Rena's wardrobe, which he could have done but there's the problem that it may be more difficult to put those on over the sundress. His objective was mostly to cover Naoto from the cold, not to get her properly dressed, so this should suffice.]

Most probably it was, and if it's not there it will be there soon. Most of my clothes and things appeared at the stores after I arrived, even things I didn't have with me before I was brought here. Don't worry about the money though, everything is free so you won't have to pay to get your things back or anything.

I'm glad to hear that. I would prefer to carry my revolver again.

[She fidgets a little]
If you'll excuse me...I'm quiet cold.

[She scoots behind a tree to put her clothes on. A few moments later she walks out from behind the tree, though the clothes are obviously a bit big on her small figure they settle comfortably on her form. The jacket goes down to about her waist and the dress is sticking out from under it almost as if she's wearing a long shirt]

Weapons are at the blacksmith, I'll get you there too if you want.

[He nods as she excuses herself and even turns around. Sure, she has gone behind a tree but still, he's not going to just stand there and stare at it. It's just a small, pointless gesture, but despite how much of an idiot he can be even Keiichi knows when someone isn't in situation to deal with jokes and such.

He turns around when he hears her coming out and smiles.]

You know, it doesn't look that bad. The dress almost isn't noticeable.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble.

[She fidgets a little. Naoto isn't exactly used to wearing another boy's clothes but still thankful it's not a skirt or a dress.]

They are a bit big though they will suffice for the time being.

[Keiichi rummages in another bag he was carrying, offering her a sandwich and a vacuum flask.]

It's not trouble at all, I wouldn't offer otherwise. And there are tons of clothes at the store, even if yours aren't there I'm sure you will be able to find something that suits you better.

Anyway, here, eat something. I hope you like warm tea, it may not be the best combination but it should help you regain warmth. We will go once you're done.

[She takes the sandwich and the flask. Food, clothes and coming to find her himself. How is she going to thank him]

Anything that isn't a skirt or dress will be suitable for me.

Thank you. [Naoto begins to eat the sandwich and sits down on the grass since it obviously isn't the best idea to try and pour tea when you're standing up and holding a sandwich]

[Keiichi sits down too, it would be awkward to remain standing up after all.]

Then you won't have problems, I'm pretty sure there are tons of clothes that aren't skirts or dresses. There's even a special clothing store, a friend runs it, you can basically even make special requests if you can't find what you want anywhere else.
