20th Case - [action]

[Do you know what today happens to be?  Well do you??  It's Naoto's birthday of course!  (Not that anyone would know besides two people)  And she's spending it... not... exactly how she had originally planned.  Instead of reading her heart away at the library, she's out and about in the village with a card in her hand, white lilies sticking out of her shoulder bag's pocket and a focused look on her face.

What is she doing?  She's on a scavenger hunt of course!  Sure it may seem a little childish but at least it's been slightly entertaining.  Well... even if it wasn't, she couldn't just blow the whole thing off.  She'd never forgive herself if she didn't investigate.  Besides, there might be something interesting waiting for her at the end!

So throughout the entire day, Naoto will be wandering around the village (more specifically around the school, library and plaza) in search for her next clue.  Where will you find her?]

[Locked to Roxas]

[After finding the sixth book, lily and clue, Naoto has found herself making her way up to the roof of the library.  When she reaches the top, she's... half surprised and half not to see a certain person standing up there with her.  But she won't let the surprise show.  Instead, she smiles lightly.] 

Roxas-kun.

[He might be dying in embarrassment right now, but at the same time he's actually kind of pleased with himself. He'd really have to think of a way to thank Cheria for the suggestion. Ami, too, for her help with picking out the books. When Naoto appears on the roof, he gives her a slight wave and an awkward grin.]

...man, took you long enough. Those clues were easy. [He's teasing, of course, if only to try and make himself less nervous. What if she didn't really like her surprise?]

[What's with that awkward grin, Roxas? She notices it. She won't question it too much (meaning she will just a little) though as she walks over to him.

Chuckling a little at the teasing] I apologize for keeping you waiting for oh so very long. Did you plan and design this scavenger hunt all on your own?

[Nervous neck-rub...get!]

Um...yeah. I mean it wasn't my idea, I had some help but...yeah. ...what'd you think?

I see. [She tilts her head just very slightly, observing him then gives him a reassuring smile. Is he that worried that she didn't like it?]

Simple, I must admit, but over all it was beyond enjoyable. It's been quite some time since I last did something of that nature. It was... nice. [The last time being when her grandfather made her find all of her missing detective toys. But no matter how stressful (like that last time had been) or simple this particular game is... she can never come to dislike it. It reminds her how much she loves being a detective and searching for clues and solving mysteries.]

[He kind of gets the feeling it was really cheesy, that's all.]

I'm glad...but you haven't received your present for solving the last clue yet. So. Don't thank me yet. [His hand's going for his pocket...]

Well it certainly can't be a book or a lily since he had placed it in his pocket. So she just watches and waits to see what it is.]

[He's pulling out a box then, presenting it to her. Whenever she opens it, she'll find a necklace shaped like a magnifying glass. He found it in the items shop and was pretty pleased with himself.]

[Kouki is at the plaza, where he'll notice a friend of his looking around. Hm? What is she doing?]

Shirogane-san?

[He calls out, walking over to her.]

[...Oh wait, is someone talking to her? She turns her head in Kouki's direction]

Now, Ms. Detective, let's see if I can't work it out. White lilies in the bag. Absorbed glance. Seemingly hand-written card. Previous conversation asking about how to ask someone out. I deduce...']

I beg your pardon?? This is not a love letter of any sort! Why on earth would you assume it would be something such as that? [She would have shredded it by now if it was, duh]

It isn't a public event. It was specifically designed for me.

[At the library, Sokka is trying to focus on his alchemy. But this guy... girl? Whatever. This person keeps going back and forth looking for stuff. It's kind of tiring to watch.]

When participating in a game such as this, one cannot simply go to another and ask where a specific item has been placed. It requires thinking and individual determination. Besides, I highly doubt you or anyone here will know the item's current location

The items placed at the location hinted on this card will be a book coupled with a white lily. [She takes one of the flowers gently out of her bag]
