[He shuts the door behind him as he goes in, taking a seat next to her. At a glance, it's easy to note the kind of scarring he went through during that mess a few weeks back.]

[Nope! You're going to have to wait an extra minute or two! Naoto doesn't really want to get out of bed since it's nice and toasty, okay? Okay. But she eventually makes her way out of her room, yawning]

Morning, Rise-san.

[Took her long enough! Rise's been up all bright and cheery since well, eight, you know. And she's now taking some tea at the table as she browses through her journal. Hmm hmm.]

[It's afternoon and, Naoto, you're not back yet. Why aren't you back yet?

[ ...God dammit. There's that name again. All morning people have been calling her Naoto. Even Roxas. But it's not that she doesn't get it, because she does... she's the one affected and yet she can't help but feel pissed off.]

Please refrain from using that name. It's Toxona.

Wha...?

[That sounds like the name of a monster from some sentai show.

Which is probably why that makes Rise recheck if she's gotten the correct person and-- yep, that's definitely Naoto's face. She's sure of it. Which leads to the question of just what the hell, Naoto.]

[It is now the eighth day of the Total Recall experiment and Yuan has been reverted to the Luceti Valley mindset, as have quite a few others. With these altered memories, Yuan's become quite a bit calmer. Martel, his wife and the love of his life has gone missing, but in the overall he's still not as tense as he usually would've been. Residents who go missing have a tendency to return before long and he's sure Martel will do the same.

So for now, he's sitting in a lawn chair on the porch outside house #8. It's a good thing the sun is out, so he can enjoy the weather.]

[Unlike Yuan, Naoto is not as calm since when she woke up, she found herself inside another apartment (again) with all of her stuff there instead of back home. It's such a hassle!! Stupid shifts, honestly.

So as she makes her way back home, with an armful of books, she spots her dad sitting there and waves while balancing the books in one arm somehow] Father!

Oh, Naoto. [He was expecting to see her soon, but he was not expecting a big pile of books to accompany her. It earns a bit of an eyebrow raise from Yuan.]

Did you pay a visit to the library?

She grins at first, realizing that she has now apparently gotten an actual opponent instead of just air itself but then she blinks and looks at the girl curiously.

She's talking to her as if they've spoken before or as if she knows her. How strange. Naoto recognizes her as the leader of the "SSS" or whatever it was called, but she's never met her personally. Just seen her over the journals. It's possible she's heard about Naoto over the journals too but hmmmm. She'll just play along and see where this leads]

...I play chess quite often, actually. Though I admit it has been quite some time since I have had a formidable opponent. [It's upsetting really.]

[ Yuri doesn't know about formidable when it comes to chess, but she's willing to try at least.

Somehow that didn't seem like Naoi's version of patting his own ass, even if he basically just called everyone around sucky at it. But weird things were going on and there was still ass-patting happening, so-- ]

How come I've never seen you playing it then? [ Her hands go to her hips. ]

You can definitely say that again, Souji.] It has become rather annoying and bothersome, hasn't it? [The being upside down she could do without... however she doesn't mind teleporting into peoples houses and what not. A chance to investigate and be nosy, you know?]

All entirely accurate descriptions. [Especially the frustrating one, considering how things have been going for people throughout the village. Now she follows Yuan's gaze to the trees.] I do wonder, what could the purpose of an experiment such as this be to them?

The wind? [She looks off to the side, focusing on how the air feels around them. There's a breeze but it's definitely not strong enough to knock someone over.]

Community building six? [Wow. Definitely not where she wanted to be... far from it in fact.] I had expected to enter the library, but it appears the entrance doors lead to this very room instead.

[You. Naoto. You're one of Roxas' buddies. One might say that you're too close with Roxas. And Robin has stalked as far as journalstalking can get him. It's annoying how little she reveals on the journals. So now he's set on following her around in person.

Does she notice the little slip in the shadows that vanishes whenever she turns around?]

[Sorry Robin, Naoto's pretty careful about what she says over the open network.

But yes, she has seen that slip, in fact she's seen it a few times now and she doesn't like it at all. Her fingers have been subtly dancing on the handle of her gun that's strapped to her leg the entire time too. If there's one thing she doesn't like, it's being followed by someone who doesn't want to be seen. It makes her feel a little nervous, admittedly.

So she decides to lead her follower out until there's hardly anyone around (just in case she has to pull out her gun, she doesn't want to hit anyone) then stops there and calls out]

[When Cilan isn't helping Masaomi and other Pokemon trainers with their training, or doing the cooking for House 11 and a convenience store gig, what does Cilan like to do? Reading. A lot of it, too. He reads pretty much anything that has an interesting title, though he often tends to gravitate towards either the science section of thick but informative textbooks, or towards the mystery section where they keep the detective and noir stories, even sometimes picking up a book about the actual justice system once or twice. Today, he's feeling a taste for mystery.

Naoto may or may not recognize him as a frequent visitor here, since he seems to come here at least once a week. He walks up to the check in desk with a couple of books he's already finished to drop off first.]

Excuse me, I'd like to return these books that I borrowed last week. [One of them is a book with a fancy title (it appears to be a science book about electricity) and three books that are detective novels.]
