[Action]

[Even though things have calmed down concerning the whole Vanitas ordeal, that doesn't mean Naoto is going to stop training and just relax.  She has to get stronger, right?  So in the morning, she'll be doing her usual thing of heading to the battle dome to train but only for an hour or two.

After that, anyone who is walking around may spot Naoto on the steps to Community Building 4 with a few random objects on the step beside her and one in her hand.  In fact she seems to be focusing on it a great deal, wires coming out of the little trinket as she carefully connects them to each other with different tools.

Later on in the afternoon she'll be at the library, picking out a cook book then she'll head over to the grocery store to get the proper ingredients to make taiyaki and she'll even go to the item shop to grab some more random things to experiment with.

So feel free to bother our little detective]

[Nagisa happened to be walking by when she noticed Naoto doing... whatever the heck she was doing in front of the Community Building. She really had no clue what she was doing, and so, she watched, trying to figure out just what it was.

...

Yeah. No idea. Now she's just going to stand there awkwardly and stare, contemplating whether or not to say something. Decisions, decisions. This may take a while.]

[Walking up the steps of the Community Building, Yuuka's foot ends up landing on some of the objects to Naoto's side. She isn't too bothered if they're important or not so she just carries on walking, looking back to the girl on the steps as she does.]

Good day Naoto~

[She'll scrape the heel of her foot against one of the steps, just in case something was stuck to the bottom of it, like something of Naoto's she stood on. Then, walking again.]

[Unfortunately, Naoto is too involved in connecting these wires together to notice Nagisa staring at her from afar. She ends up almost getting herself shocked when two of them touch.

So she leans back and in doing so, she notices the girl in front of her. Blink, blink]

Can I help you?

O-oh, I'm sorry! I-I was just wondering what you were doing. ...And if you were okay. I-it looked like you almost got shocked by that.

[Embarrassed forever. But nevertheless, she is interested.]

[She doesn't bother looking up at Yuuka when she starts walking up the steps but as soon as she steps on the objects, she stops working on the trinket in her hand to glare up at her

Luckily the objects are a little too dense for her to shatter but some of them do scratch and clatter onto the step below when she scraps her heel. She leans down to pick them up and put them safely on her lap]

Still childish and rude as ever.

I wouldn't say I am being childish. Perhaps I was just trying to tell you to move your things off of the steps, only in a very direct manner.

[She stops walking to reply, but then she notices all those little objects in Naoto's lap are nothing like anything she's ever seen. And that trinket with the wires poking out definitely grabs her attention.]

What are these anyway? I have never seen such things before.

[Walking down a few steps to stand behind her, she'll just reach down to try and tug at one of the wires.]

[if it's not the Battle Dome or the clinic, it's the bakery. and if it's not the bakery, it's the grocery store-- which is where Sora happens to spot Naoto, lifting a hand in a friendly wave.]

[As it happens, Minato is wandering around town today and passes Community Building 4, spotting the familiar person at her work. He stops and peeks in.]

Afternoon, Naoto-kun.

Oh, I'm all right. I'm trying to make a more advanced version of a radio that I created years ago.

[And this time it's installed inside a real knife too]

[Well that sounds dangerous. Buuuut, she's kind of interested, anyway. And so she is going to continue to stare at the objects intently.]

You're able to make things like that? Oooh... You must be really talented!

[She blushes a little from the compliment]

I-I wouldn't say I'm talented per say. To be honest, the last time I created something like this was when I was a child so I'm not as good as I used to be.

A very rude and childish manner, as I said before.

They're my inventions. [She doesn't move when Yuuka reaches down to touch the wire] I wouldn't touch that if I were you. There's a high possibility that it will shock you.

As a child?! Even if you don't think you're as good as you were then, the fact that you were able to do it while so young proves that you're talented.

[Aaaand then she notices Naoto's flustered appearance.]

U-um, I'm sorry if saying that is odd. Especially from a stranger.

[Naoto's in the middle of scanning the bean paste when she hears a familiar voice. Oh, look who it is! She closes the book that's in her hand, since she had it open to help her find the ingredients, and returns the wave]

Hello, Sora-kun. I didn't expect to see you here.

[Naoto's currently going through the book again to make sure she has everything when she notices that someone is saying hello to her. Huh, it's that new feather from before. She might feed him if he asks]

Hello, Okazaki-san. [Closing the book]

[Ah! Minako sure is good at surprise attacks]

Y-Yes, I come here on a daily basis. [What time is it now?] I believe I've been here for about an hour or so now.

[It takes her a minute, carefully connecting a wire to another, but she tilts her head up to look at Rise]

I did but I came back.

Hello Minato-san...

[Give her a second to look up, she doesn't want to get herself shocked while connecting these wires together. Once she does get them connected nicely, she takes a deep breath and looks up at her visitor.]

[She could fluster a lot more and thanks to that she's currently on her way to that point]

T-Thank you, I suppose.

[Shaking her head] N-No it isn't that strange. [ ... ] Are you a New Feather?

A New Feather...?

[And then she remembers hearing that term used by someone when she first arrived.]

Um, yes, I am. I only got here very recently.

[In fact her wings are even still hurting a bit.]

[That explains why she seems so hesitant and why Naoto didn't recognize her, normally she sees everyone around town at least once

Might as well introduce herself while she's at it] My name is Naoto Shirogane.
