7th Case - [Voice]/[Action]

[Voice]

[Though it's relatively quiet, a slight breeze can be heard passing over the mic.  The sound of leaves rustling against one another is also there.  That calm silence lasts for only a minute, then a voice appears though its also rather quiet]

...It seems I have been brought back.  [Another pause then she speaks again, a bit more irritated]  Unfortunately, I'm unable to remember anything that happened in the time I was gone.  Dammit.

...My body aches...I don't think I'll be able to move off of this branch in this condition.  I...need to rest... [Her voice fades off.]

[Action]

[Not too far from the village, up in a tree on a thick branch, there lies a Naoto, but she isn't very high up at all.  Someone could easily get her down without climbing themselves.  One leg is dangling off of the branch and the other is up on it.  Her back is resting against the trunk behind her and the journal is resting nicely in her lap.

Her face and neck bare a few scratches and her arms are covered in deeper cuts that disappear up her sleeves.  Not to mention she's relatively weak so that makes moving around an issue. 

Although she looks like she's asleep, her eyes being closed and all, she's only just resting so she'll notice anyone who comes by. 

Though she isn't aware of it right now, she's lost all sense of feeling/touch, temporarily of course.  For example, she wouldn't be able to tell if something was hot or freezing by touching it or like she can't feel someones body heat.]

How can you be sure?

[It isn't that she really has this burning need to know- rather, it's an effort to keep Naoto awake. She just wants to be careful.]

[fortuneprince]

To be honest, I'm not sure...I never actually took the time to study the different trees.

[She lets out a soft chuckle]

[analyzing]

[And she chuckles as well- playing along.]

There isn't an apple hanging in front of you, is there?

[fortuneprince]

[The leaves rustle as she lifts her hand up to look through the leaves above her]

No, no apples in sight.

[analyzing]

I guess it's a little too early. It's supposed to be spring now, right?

[fortuneprince]

I believe it is spring here, or at least the beginning of summer.

[analyzing]

That's right...it's way too early for apples. Hey, do you like apples, Naoto?

[Meanwhile, she's busy giving directions to Kouki on how to find Naoto. It's a work in progress!]

[fortuneprince]

It is a bit early. But yes, I do like apples.

[Naoto is still keeping a look out for Kouki, though she's starting to sound tired again]

[analyzing]

[And she notes that tiredness creeping into Naoto's tone, and that's when she intensifies her searching, zooming into the exact details, the area, the surrounding wildlife....there really are more squirrels here than necessary.]

How about pie? Apple pie.

[fortuneprince]

Pie...[She pauses to think, trying her best to stay awake at the same time]

I haven't had any since I was a child.

[analyzing]

There's a bakery here with so delicious pies. We'll go get some once you're better, okay?

[fortuneprince]

I would like that. [She's a bit more awake now, more by force though]

[analyzing]

[Kouki's closing in- she's just told him to look around a certain area, since it's impossible for her to tell exactly which tree she's on.]

It's gonna summer too, so we'll make sure to have some ice cream with that too. What kind do you like?

[fortuneprince]

[Naoto can't quite see or hear Kouki yet but she's waking up slowly]

I wouldn't mind some chocolate ice cream.

[analyzing]

We'll give you two scoops! How about that?

[HURRY UP, KOUKI]

[fortuneprince]

That sounds fine to me. [SHE HEARS HIM NOW.] I can hear someone, Rise-san. [And that's where this starts up]
