21st Case - [Written] - Foward-dated to the morning of the 4th
[ It's a weird feeling, deja vu is.
Standing in the doorway of what used to be Rise's room, Naoto staring in at the bareness of it. The bed is neatly made, no fluffy or frilly pillows resting around it, just white sheets and a single pillow. Everything the idol once possessed and stored in this room now gone. Accessories, pictures, books, clothes, you name it, all gone.
It felt as if Luceti just wiped the girl off the face of the earth. Like she was never even here. That every moment Naoto spent with her here was a lie. Much like when Souji left.
Naoto doesn't panic as the reality of the situation sets in nor does she cry. Instead, she closes the door to the unoccupied room quietly, and walks away from it, sitting herself down on the couch while Kuzunoha stays behind and stares at the door sadly, waiting for his playmate to come out and scream at him.
It takes her a good thirty minutes to pick up the journal, but when she does, she almost decides to try a filter, to try and deny what she knows what's really going on, but she resists. What would the point be? She knows it would break. So she pulls out her pen, in fear that her voice may crack if she speaks, and writes: ]
Rise Kujikawa has been sent home. [ ...She stares down at her own message and frowns, the tears finally well up in her eyes. It's going to be so much quieter without Rise around. Without her best friend. ]

['Okay, this is starting to sound like it... An assassin, a crazed stalker trying to kill the idol! A detective! And ... the high school boy who saves her...? I don't like that either. Unless it's me.
Well, I guess it doesn't matter anymore.']

AND A HALF HOUR LATER Naoto is there at the tea shop, sitting down at a table with a warm cup of tea in her hands. There's a thoughtful look on her face too]

The serial murder case that took place in a rural town called Inaba, began in April 2011 back in my world. The first victim found was a reporter by the name of Mayumi Yamano. She disappeared only one day before her death and was found the following afternoon, hanging upside down from an antenna by a high school student named Saki Konishi.
Saki was the second victim, found dead only a few days after Mayumi's murder. She was found in a similar position as Mayumi had been. Hanging upside down, but from a telephone pole.
The causes and reasons behind their deaths remained unknown to the police and the general population. There had been no indication of how both victims were murdered, that in itself was a mystery. But, there was a select group of people who were aware of the cause and reason. A very small group. I was among them.
...The two murder victims had been thrown into another world to perish. A world hidden within the TV. [Looking up to stare at Kyon with a serious look]

Seriously, that's what I'm waiting for here.']
...Within a TV? Which TV?

When they were brought back into our world by some mysterious force, our world would be filled with a thick fog, making it impossible to see how the bodies were placed where they had been put.
action;
And you still don't have any explanation for that?

Unfortunately, that had been the only thing we did not come to solve. We did, however, identify the murderer himself as well as the motive and how the crime itself had been done.
