Would any of you consider chocolate to be too cliche of a gift on Valentine's day? [She really shouldn't be asking the day before Valentine's day but whatever.] I realize that it is practically tradition to give a loved one chocolate of some kind--at least back home it had been--but is that truly the best gift to offer?

[It's not something she'd consider original or all that special... but that might be just her]

What would you consider to be special and unique as a gift for Valentine's Day? What would you personally want? A card? A rose? Anything in particular at all? [She just wants some ideas for her present]

Do you have some time to spare today, Roxas-kun? I-I have something for you...

[And he's soon up there, walking toward her but giving her a curious look at the item in her arms.]

Why the roof, exactly?

[Oh there you are Roxas. She turns to face him and her arms tighten just a little around the gift, like she's protecting it]

Solitude. [Then she smiles sheepishly] It's a place I find to be comfortable as well.

[He really wants to focus on your face, Naoto, but he's too distracted by that gift.]

I guess that makes sense...Axel and I used to come up to these roofs a lot, too.

I should invite you to come here more often, if that's the case.

[She takes a few steps closer then holds the neatly wrapped box out. Your patience has paid off] H-Happy Valentine's day...

I wouldn't say no.

...I should have got you something, too, huh? [But he'll take the box, giving her a grin before he's starting to unwrap it.]

A-Ah that wouldn't have been necessary. [There's always White Day Roxas! Not... that Naoto's expecting you to get her something but she's just glad she got up enough courage to give you this.

In the box there are two separate things. The bigger of the two items is a relatively good sized piece of handmade chocolate in the shape of a heart, wrapped neatly in plastic wrap. It's still a bit too cliche for her tastes but everyone she asked seemed to encourage it. And luckily it's edible too! Rise wasn't there to help or pour in some kind of spice.

The other gift is also handmade, but it's not something he can eat. It's a detective badge with Roxas' name printed on it along with the words 'Luceti Detective Agency' on the top. She would have put their real agency's name but they hadn't gotten one yet.]

[That chocolate's really nice, sure, and he looks it over for a bit (including a quick sniff just to make sure it's actually okay), but the real focus is on the detective badge. He picks it up out of the box, holding it up in front of his face to read it.]

You made these for me? Really?

[Naoto just nods, trembling. You could say she's more than a little nervous]

...man, it's awesome. It's perfect. [Yeah, he's still examining the badge.] It's even got my name and everything...did you make one for you, too?

[Oh he likes it?? This is good! More than good. She's smiling now]

Y-Yes, I did. [She pulls it out an identical badge out of her pocket, with her name obviously on it instead of his]

It's really official now, isn't it? [Don't mind him, Dorkxas is now trying to put the badge on.]

[Silly Roxas. Here, Naoto will help you put it on]

It is.

[And on it goes. Give him a minute to admire it.]

...thanks a lot, Naoto. Really. This means a lot to me. [Especially with everything that's been going on...]

You're welcome... I'm glad you like it.

[She still wishes she could've added flashing lights or something to make it better but as long as he likes it, everything's good]

Are you going to put yours on, too?

Oh! Yes, of course.

[And so she shall put her own badge on now]

See? Now we look like a real team.

We do, don't we? [She can't help but chuckle a little]

I would have given you a hat similar to mine but I'm not quite sure how well you could wear it with your hair as it is.

And what's that supposed to mean?

The way your hair is styled. [She brings her hand up to finger brush the spikes a little]

I'm not sure my hat would be able to stay down.

[A shrug.] Maybe not, but I like my hair the way it is. Oh well.

It is an interesting style. Is it natural?

I guess so. It's been like this since I can remember.

I see. That's quite the cowlick then.

[He lightly nudges her shoulder.] Blame Sora. [Or blame Ventus...but he's not going to elaborate on that.]
