Roxas Kingdom Hearts 2

Even though these two had a rather quiet start, it soon sparked after the entire Vanitas ordeal and after Roxas saw her shadow in the form of a robot.  Their common desire to find the truth led them to opening up to one another, telling each other about their own worlds and even their pasts.  This brought about a new understanding as they both found similiarities between them and due to that, it made them to be very close friends. It's true that Naoto does have a fairly good amount of close friends in Luceti, but there's no doubt that she is much closer to Roxas than the others.  Not only because he has opened up to her, but also because Roxas has seen her darker and weaker side (due to the appearance of her shadow) and she has even told him about how she continues to dislike being a girl along with how being a girl causes problems with her job back home.  But despite what he has seen and heard, he accepts her and is glad that she is the boyish girl detective that she is and to that she's incredibly grateful.  It almost makes her feel content with the fact that she is a woman. Kouki Wakahisa SMT: Devil Survivor

It goes without saying that Naoto and Kouki have been through some strange experiences together, mainly due to the experiments the Malnosso conduct on them but they have no intention of letting those moments get in the way of their friendship. After a certain experiment, Naoto knew that the attitude Kouki portrayed during that time had a deeper reason to it.  So after questioning him about it, he finally confessed that he had chosen the path back in his world to become the King of Bel, basically the demon king.  Of course, being as close as they are, this hasn't changed Naoto's opinion of him but the fact that his demonic powers could change him does concern her a little. Sora Kingdom Hearts 2

These two have a bit of an odd friendship since they always tend to meet up in the worst situations.  But Naoto is nonetheless happy when they talk since Sora's adventures are strange yet amusing to her. It's obvious that Naoto worries a lot about Sora's well being ever since Vanitas tore off his wing.  And being Naoto, she went after him to make him pay for what he did to Sora.  But after her defeat, Sora managed to make Naoto promise him that she wouldn't fight alone again and told her he would be there to help her fight then she made him promise the same.  She won't risk losing him. Aside from spending time together during the AU event back in april, these two haven't been able to spend quality time together.  But despite their very little communication, Naoto still feels as if Yuan is like a father figure to her and quietly hopes to spend more time with him. Because of the whole Vanitas situation, Naoto has been able to make a deeper connection with Ven.  Though the majority of their time speaking is spent with Naoto constantly questioning him about what he remembers and what Sora could've done to make Vanitas resemble him, there are times when they're able to break away from that and just hang out. Though they may not work under the exact same circumstances, Naoto feels as if she can relate to Roji through their work.  Since they have spent some time together, he has told her a little bit about his work and his world but she still remains curious and in need of more answers about it. Yuuka touhou

As interesting as Yuuka's world may be to Naoto (at least from what she has told her), Naoto truly doesn't like her and yet she doesn't fully hate her.  They may have gotten into a few fights, one in which Yuuka broke her arm, and destroyed her apartment, but hatred doesn't quite fit for how she feels about her.  More annoyance than anything. reverse SOCIAL LINK RANK 2: ■ ■ arcana: Tower
