[The sound of clicking is heard, it's more than likely that Naoto has no idea her mic is on right now. The clicking stops for a moment before a snap as if something metal just shut.

Right now, Naoto is loading bullets into her gun but unless you know what loading a revolver sounds like, you're not going to know what it is. She starts to speak, obviously not to any one who may be listening through the journal] Senpai, Rise-san? I'm leaving to go train, I will be back shortly.

[She closes her journal, cutting the audio off]

[Action]

[Unless you're Rise or Souji, who obviously saw her leave the room, you may see Naoto walking towards the battle dome in the early afternoon. You may have even heard that she was heading there if you caught her voice clip before she shut it off.

Naoto will be there for most of the day, kicking shadow hologram ass and naturally some of the harder to beat ones from her world. She's pretty determined to get even stronger so, she needs the challenge.

If you come across her room in the battle dome, be sure to make your presence known so she doesn't shoot you by accident, thinking you're a shadow]

[Naoto wasn't the only one with the idea of using the battle dome today. Especially since the last draft, Minato's been taking more time to train. When she decides to take a break from training she might notice him over by the vending machines in the second floor viewing area. He's carrying a gym bag with a sword handle sticking out.]

[It's been a few hours since Naoto initially started her training and she's pretty worn out so she's going to take a break and make her way up to the second floor when she spots Minato. She walks over to the vending machines and presses a button for a bottle of water]

Good afternoon, Minato-san.

Naoto-kun.

[If he was surprised by her appearance he doesn't show it. He nods at her, holding a can of Mad Bull, himself.] Here training?

Yes. It seems I'm a bit out of shape though.

[She won't mention her persona since she doesn't know that he can summon one too. Once the water bottle comes out, she grabs it and opens it, taking a long drink. Sighing when she's done, she looks at Minato]

I take you are as well? [Looking at the sword handle]

[he nods.]

It's easy to get behind when it's quiet.

It can be unfortunately.

[She takes another sip of her water] How long have you been training with a sword?

About three years. [One at home, two in Luceti.]

I can imagine you're quite skilled then.

[ ... ] Would you like to train with me?

I could still use some work. [it's partly modesty, but he does believe this. Shadows and people are completely different opponents.

The offer, though... he never did get a chance to see her Persona before.]

If you don't mind.

There is always something we feel the need to improve on. [Indeed they are.

She nods and smiles a bit] Shall we then?

[he nods, tossing the empty can into the trash can and picking up his bag.]

Lead the way.

[She nods and gestures for him to follow as she makes her way down to the first floor. Once on the first floor she takes him to the room she was originally training in.

Minato may or may not notice the fading haze in the room, Naoto was training in the fog.]

[He does notice, as he glances around the rest of the room.]

So what's the scenario?

[She pauses for a moment to think]

To be honest, I'm not quite sure what you're accustomed to. What was previously fighting in may not be suitable.

From what I've heard, the Shadows didn't change too much.

[....no idea that probably sounded strange. He's assumed someone mentioned his ability to her by now.]

[She stares at him for a moment. How did he know about the shadows?]

....Minato-san, are you by any chance familiar with personas?

[....blink.]

I thought Souji-kun would have told you...

[Except he'd followed up "I know about Personas" with "you were here and lost your memory," making the former kind of less important.]

[Naoto shakes her head and frowns a bit]

Souji-senpai didn't inform me about your interaction with personas.

[It's obvious that he's put off holding a SEES meeting for too long. With Mitsuru gone, things have been disorganized but.... that just means it's his responsibility now.]

I'm part of a team that fought Shadows on Port Island.

Port Island?

[She definitely remembers that place, but she had no idea that's where Minato was, let alone the shadows as well]

I was there once before though I don't recall rumors of the midnight channel spreading around that area. When was your team formed?

[he shakes his head] We didn't have a Midnight Channel. Do you remember the "Apathy Syndrome"?

Apathy Syndrome? [ ... ] I do remember hearing about it...though it was years ago so I don't remember all the details.

[There wasn't much she could know from the public reports anyway, but it gives her the time frame.]

In 1999, there was an accident on the island that twisted the Shadows' world and ours. We called it the "Dark Hour." Every night at midnight, those of us with Persona potential entered an extra hour and encountered Shadows. Sometimes normal people would also be drawn in, and get attacked. Those were the victims of Apathy Syndrome.

[She thinks back to 1999 though she obviously isn't going to remember much since she was so young. But it does surprise her that such a thing happened not too far away from Inaba, where the midnight channel formed]

Does this "Dark Hour" still exist?

No, our group ended it. [...] We thought the problems with Shadows would end, too.
