10th Case - [Voice]/[Action] - Backdated to June 20th

[There isn't much to hear when the journal first turns on just the wind blowing and the soft rustling of the grass surrounding it.  Eventually a familiar voice comes up on the other end of the journal, though it's quiet]

...I'm...alive...[a pause] ...why...?

[It's been a few hours since the fight between Naoto and Vanitas ended so it's around evening time now.

If anyone happens to come across Naoto, in the forest to the west of the village, she'll be sitting up and leaning against a tree instead of lying on the ground like she was before.  With her body as sore as it is, it's relatively difficult for her to move very far. 

The blood staining her left side continues to come from the obvious gash in her shoulder though not as badly as before.  She's looking up towards the sky and two nice little bruises can be seen on both sides of her jaw from the pressure Vanitas was applying there to knock her out. 

Her hat also seems to be missing, probably blew off while she was out cold.  Perhaps you'll find it on the way to her?]

The pain in my shoulder..the wound, it's gone. What kind of medicine was that??

...it was a gift. [She shakes her head-- she'll have to be sure to thank Ian properly the next time she sees him.] C'mon, can you stand?

From who?

[She's still just a little sore but that doesn't mean she's not going to try. So being careful, she slowly stands up, putting her hand on the tree behind her to steady herself]

A friend. Don't worry, he's...he's made stuff like this before.

[She'll rise slowly with Naoto, because the last thing she needs is for Naoto to fall again.]

It tastes like blood though...

[Give her a second to make sure she has her balance after letting go of the tree]

[nod] We're stopping by the medical centre first, okay?

[Maybe they'll let her take a short nap there.] Rise-san...thank you.

[analyzing]

Don't mention it. And...here. [She'll hand the hat that she found earlier to Naoto.] That's all you dropped, right?

[She takes the hat happily and puts it on her head] I wouldn't considered by gun dropped, but it's missing.

[analyzing]

[STOP, ABOUT TURN TO LOOK AT NAOTO. Hey wait what, that's not something you should say so casually!]

You brought it with you? And...what do you mean "missing"?

How else do you expect me to fight? [Siiiiigh] Vanitas took my gun.

Unfortunately, yes. I reloaded it right before I passed out... [Well technically one bullet should be missing since she shot once at him before passing out]

I see. [Vanitas, Vanitas, she's heard that name before. But where...?] Do you think it was taken?

[nod] The wind couldn't have possibly blown it away so that is the only answer. What Vanitas intends to do with it, I'm not sure.

[analyzing]

Mmm.

[But enough talk, she's gonna focus on making sure that the both of them get to the medical centre safely. And after all this is settled...she'd go do some digging on her own.
